My periods are fairly regular. My past 4 periods: August 12, 2010 my period began, September 11, 2010 my period began, October 9, 2010 my period began, and my most recent period (though I'm not sure if it is my period began the other day on November 6, 2010. Yesterday it was just very very light and had a light brown color with brown discharge. Now it's thicker (which it should be) except the color is dark brown instead of red which is weird.

I have also been in a tremendous amount of stress since Tuesday and I've been crying a lot because of it. I AM on the pill, but might the stress have something to do with this..

It might be things are off a bit due to stress, but periods don't always have to be exactly the same from one to the next.

Some periods start more brownish and some end that way.
