Is it legal to with hold pay from salaried employees
I am a visiting nurse with an expected quota of 30 patients weekly. The company is now threatening to withhold my check if that quota say is only 29... one of my folks was admitted to the hospital. They say it is legal if they "do not generate" a paycheck to begin with... I say what about the 29 folks I DID see? I am an exempt salaried employee.

If you are an exempt salaried employee, you have to be paid your weekly salary. While a company can peg bonuses and additional pay on a performance basis, salary is based on your showing up for work.

They have to pay your salary, if you are a salary employee.
