Time of limitations on prob. rev. hearing
How many days does the prob. Officer have to give you something in writing as to why you are being violated, I had researched this 15 yrs ago, and found they had 10 days to give you something in writing before you could have a hearing for revacation. And how much time they have to get you in front of the judge to be revoked after the hold has been placed? I lost all my paper work in katrina. Thanks, eric

    Hello k:

There is NO time limit. You don't have the same rights to due process that an UNCONVICTED person does.

There is no time frame in any place I have been at. The paper work is done, signed by the judge and a warrant is issued, you are held in court till the hearing,

As noted on probation you do not have the same rights as a person arrested for a new crime
