Bright red bleeding during early pregnancy?
I am 7w4days pregnant with my second child and have been spotting dark brown blood/discharge for about a week now. Until today when I went to the bathroom and the blood was much brighter- like a period. This whole week has been extremely stressful and I am living in Germany so the doctors are not the same as in the states. They give you the worst senerio first which stinks- also the blood is unaccompanied by any cramps. Should I be worried. Its Sunday and the only the Labor and delivery section of the maternity ward is opened so I can't even go there..

Some women will have some bleeding in early pregnancy and all will be well. Of course sometimes it will be associated with a possible miscarriage with or without cramping (although with cramping is more of the norm). Is it mostly just spotting or more like a period flow?

Unfortunately, if it were due to a potential miscarriage, there wouldn't be anything you could do at this stage. Taking it easy, limited activity, or perhaps bedrest is about all you can do until you can contact your doctor or be seen.
