Can someone please tell me why I lose water pressure from my sink faucet when I turn my water from cold to hot? Pressure is good when the water is cold but not when I turn it to hot.

This is exactly why I keep harping about flushing out your heater on a regular basis. Minerals build up in your heater and when they build up so much they get in the system and the first faucet that makes a draw sucks the crud up into the faucet blocking the hot water inlet ports of the cartridge. Turn the water off at the angle stops in the cabinet and open up the faucet. Check and clean the inlet ports on the cartridge. Now, before you button up, take and turn the hot water back on to flush out the hot water branch. This is important so it doesn't clog up again. If you don't flush your heater out let me show you how.
For long life and fewer troubles you should keep your heater clear of mineral build-up by flushing on a regular schedule. Attach a hose to the boiler drain at the bottom of the tank. With the pressure on, open the boiler drain and let it run until the water runs clear. You will see a spurt of red,(rust) followed by white grains,(lime or calcium carbonate). This shouldn't take more then a few minutes. Do this monthly to keep it clear. . Don't forget to flush it out every month. Your heater will thank you for it. Hope this helps, Tom
