What specific settings did you try to adjust? Also make sure you did not adjust the settings while on a different input. A lot of TVs will remember the settings for each individual input. So if you are on Video 1 and set your colors to be very vivid, but you tune to Video 2, typically the colors will be their default setting at Video 2.
