It depend on what kind of car insurance u have, u shold get full coverage thoug, if not full then half
Most insurance companies let you choose the insurance levels and deductible amounts for each car. So for example you could choose to have collision insurance on one car but not on a second car, or you could chose differnet deductible levels for both.
I am not aware of any auto insurance company that would NOT allow you to pick the coverage on each auto. If you wish full coverage on the newer cars and just liability on the older cars that's fine. The only stipulation is that you must be the legal owner of the car if you wish to have just liability on the car as you must keep full coverage if the car is a lease car or a car that still has an outstanding loan on it.
