    Stuttering on my honda accord
I recently purchased a 1998 honda accord used.after putting the first half a tank of gas in it I found a gas leak.can't tell where it is coming from, somewhere along the top of the tank.doesn't leak unless the car is running for a little while.car will go but it stutters almost constantly.what could the problem be and how in the heck do I drop the fuel tank on this thing?

Unless there's a puncture in the tank itself, most connections are at the top of the top. You'll need to remove the rear seat bottom to gain access to the fuel feed and return lines, as well as, your emissions hoses. Check there first for a loose connection or worn seals (be sure to disconnect your battery before trying to work back there). You also didn't mention any trouble codes or whether the CEL is illuminated.

Sorry, top of the tank (not top of the top).
