I'm not sure when I did my last tax return how can I check

1. look at last years copy ? ( assume you keep a copy)
2. ask the company that did your taxes
3. log on to the online service you used and find the date
4. request a copy from the IRS

Call 1-800-829-1040 and ask for a copy of your 2009 tax transcript. They will mail it to you FOR FREE, and may even fax it to you.
