    Jesus in OT
    I am looking for references where Jesus interacted with people in Old Testament. Correct me if I am wrong about Jesus wrestled with Jacob and HE was the fourth person in fiery furnace in the book of Daniel.

    What are other places in Old Testament where we can find references about Jesus in physical/Angelic form. And I know that Jesus is not an angel.

    It's a common belief among Christians that anywhere in the OT that talks about the Lord "appearing" to someone, such as to Abraham in Genesis 18, it's a pre-incarnate appearance of Jesus. Others aren't so sure. I find the idea feasible, but won't go to the stake for it.

    I've never heard this concept before. I was taught that these were angels sent by God, not a "pre-carnate" form of Jesus.

    As I said, it really depends on who you ask. Several appearances, such as the "captain of the Lord's host" that Joshua saw, apparently are angels. But the "man" that Jacob wrestled with gives several hints that he's much more than an angel, and Genesis 18 explicitly says that "the LORD" appeared to Abraham. The word there is the divine name, YHWH, so that fairly well eliminates the angel theory at least for that one. Abraham saw three "men," so the leader/YHWH apparently had a couple of angels with him, but the main speaker appears to have been some incarnation of God himself. That's why a lot of theologians think it was a pre-incarnate appearance of Jesus, because he's the only real example we have of God being "manifest in the flesh."
