    Cat promblems
    I have two cats a female who is fixed and a male kitten about 4 months old and is not fixed.
    Both cat/kitten tend to pee on one couch. I can't stop them and the male cat is too young to get fixed If I get a new couch will they stop!! PLEASE HELP

    They may be coming back to the smell. If you can't wash the cushions, then spray them THOROUGHLY with vinegar. It helps get rid of the smell.

    Use a squirt bottle to spray them whenever you see them getting ready to pee on the couch, or even when you see them on it. If possible, try not to let them see where the water is coming from, at least at first.

    Getting a new couch may work, but they might just start peeing on the new couch, or another piece of furniture. Work on getting them to stop, and then worry about getting a new couch.

    I know there are products you can buy that will deter cats from peeing on, or even going near, wherever you spray them. I just don't know the names of any of the brands. Hopefully someone else will be able to name them.

    I would be inclined to check out both of their urines at the vet. It could be that one has a urinary tract infection (peeing on stuff is a key sign), and the other is smelling the urine and just following suit.
