In July 2010 I have come to USA on J1 visa. I want to change it into H1b as soon as possible. What are the possible ways?

Are you a foreign medical graduate? Are you subject to the 212(e) 2-year home residency requirement? Check the visa for an annotation and your DS-2019. To really be sure, have an attorney check for government funding of the program and if your position is on the FAM Skills list.
