Q. I have been in a relationship for a little over 3years now. But I am having trouble with my boyfriend. Lately, he doesn't seem to care at all about us. It is difficult to talk to him since we don't live together, he ignores my calls,I try emails which he doesn't reply, I sent text messages... they are ignored.. I only get to know about him by calling his friends. If I ever get to talk to him, may be through his friends' phone, I have to practically drag any information from him. We live in the same town, but I haven't seen him for over 2 months now... I recently sent him a text message telling him that we shuold call it quits, he then called me saying he was sick... could we talk about it wharn he got better?. What do I do with such a person?. I am out of ideas.

Lol I think inattentive may have been an understatement, he's completely dodging you.

At this point, the reasonable thing to do would be to call it quits like you said. He's no longer invested in the relationship and he wants to break-up, but he just doesn't have the balls to actually do it.

You need to break up with that loser.

It doesn't sound like you're boyfriend and girlfriend at all. If he really cared he would see you and talk to you regularly... he wouldn't avoid you.

Your relationship sounds terrible. Seems like you're chasing him and he's running like crazy.

Dump him and find someone who treats you with some love and respect, as this guy surely isn't Mr. Right.

It seems to me that you should call it quits. if he was truly sick, why was he hanging with his friends? Fishy to me.
In my eyes, it seems like he is trying to get away from you or push you away. He doesn't truly want to be with you anymore...
If he did, he would not ignore you. You only ignore someone when you are trying to get away from them...

You haven't seen him in TWO MONTHS... and you guys live in the same town. smh, he isn't trying to see you. If he cared about you, he would see you. I know men who can't go a week without the one they love... and if they had too, they would be communicating with her nonstop.

He only stopped you when you was about to call it quits because he might just be keeping you around for a "good time" when he comes too see you or just to have that comfort that your going to always be there no matter what or he could like the fact that you are steady chasing him no matter what he does. I know guys like this and they don't care NOTHING about your best interest, no matter the years...

I don't tolerate things like this, I would leave him asap. I know it will hurt like hell but it will be the GREATEST thing you ever done.
If you want, don't communicate with him or his friends for a whole or two week... if he doesn't call you... your not on his mind and break it off.
You deserve someone much better and makes a greater effort than him...

Two months? You don't have a boyfriend, sick or not, and you should have dumped him one month, and 25 days ago. Disappear from his life. There is nothing to talk about, absolutely nothing, and NO REASON to talk. Two months?? Really? He doesn't care any way. But the his actions are disrespectful, and unacceptable, so what's even the point of talking? To satisfy your curiosity? I can clear that up, he is a punk azz coward!

I'm sorry, but I find it hard to believe that he is sick, and even if he were, you would think he would tell you from the beginning.

I would break it off with him, and from now on, ignore his texting, emails, phone calls, etc...

You are better off ALONE then with someone like him.

Thanks guys, I needed to hear that.(slapshot) I do think unattentive is an understatement too.. listen to this... he now wants to talk!! Haven't agreed to see him yet, but if I do, it will be to officially break it off. It hurts like hell but I am so unhappy anyway. Why are we so dumb when it comes to love??
