My Picasa pics. Are Cimg format, and to advertise in my local free newspaper I need JPG ~ advice of most suitable & simplest programme appreciated.

You can use a picture converter such as http://www.coolutils.com/online/image-converter/...
Or you can go in picasa and re-save all your images as .JPEG. just click on save as...

I have Picasa as well and I have never seen the cimg format. In fact I wanted to research this out of curiosity and there are no matches other than your question(s) and filenames (not formats). Are you sure you don't have those pics saves a jpeg somewhere?

Thanks JH & NK ~ re-saving images is the answer, reason for this query ~ local AdMag paper for buying/selling seemed to refuse Cimg which I understand to mean Cool image but after retry my pic went through as JPG ~ can't quite understand it all but OK now, my bike's been sold! Going to read up a bit more on Picasa, hate to be ignorant about these things!
