80's children's movie with "monsters" in it. Not "little monsters" or "where the... "
I'm looking for the name of what was likely an early 80's movie... could have been a made for TV thing. I think it is based solely in a kids bedroom and different monsters 'appear' and take him on a journey. This movie was obviously done on a minimum budget but was entertaining at the time. It was live action and had at least 5 different monsters if my memory from 20 years ago serves. I remember the room was gray also. I know it was not 'where the wild things are' 'the gate' or 'little monsters'. Those were all bigger budget films. I'm almost convinced it was a made for TV movie, but I'm not certain as my age was still in single digits the last time I saw it.
