My York central heat turns on something I can hear in the attic but the burner never lights and the fan does not blow when on heat. But the fan works when the a/c is turned on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You will have to get into the attic and see what is not happing. See if the ignitor glows, or looks in the peep hole in the botom door for a flashing red light.
