I had a really lovely and sweet boyfriend and I loved him loads. But my friend also fancied him and she started a rumor that I fancied another boy in our year , I immediately told him it wasn't true and he believed me thankfully :) but the next day she started to whisper in his ear saying stuff like "she's kissed him, i saw them" and at first he just told her to back off and I thought the rumors would die down. They didn't. None of them were true but after the third day he ended things, said he didn't want to be in a relationship where he didn't know who was telling the truth. :( I really liked and loved him and want him back. I didn't do anything wrong, but if I do fix things I'm worried that he won't trust me, because of what happened. Please help ? Xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox

The fact that he broke it off with you with out giving you the benefit of the doubt, shows me, that he wasn't as interested in you as you were him... Make sense?

People are going to fabricate the truth to benefit themselves. So, your boyfriend should have taken that into consideration before breaking it off with you.

If that's the case, then couples would be breaking up all of the time.

You could always tell him, one more time, that she is a liar.

If he doesn't want to hear it, well then, you will have your answer.

Had you ever done anything else that would make him not trust you? A boyfriend should believe his girlfriend, unless there's been something else that's happened.

If he won't listen to you, then he really isn't that great of a guy and you may be better off without him.

You didn't do anything wrong. It's not you, it's him. Unfortunately he made the mistake by not communicating this with you. Instead he broke it off.

That's not really what you want. You want a guy who will believe you and tell others (when lying) where to go...

Thank you, it turn out that he'd been slagging me off behind my back the whole time :/ so I don't give a flying monkeys about him now :D
