Hi all,

we are currently building a new home (in Seminole county FL).
I was just told by the builder it will be completed early December. The builder however suggested that it would make sense to wait until CO till after Jan 1st, otherwise so he says we would be taxed for the entire year 2010 for an improved property vs. vacant land. Is this correct?
I've already received the tax bill for 2010 which is only for the value of the land. Are they going to revise our taxes?

Yes, that sounds right. It DOES make logical sense from my perspective.
