ten years ago I got caught shoplifting at zellers for value under $500. I had to go to community policing and pay $200. I made stupid mistake again to shop lift a sears under $1000. What is my sentence going to be and how can I void my name being printed on the newspaper, my kids and family will be horrified. I regret and have realize what a stupid thing I did.

There is no way to not have it public ( if your police department posts such things) Plus you will most likely get court documents in he mail at home.
You will appear in court, pay fines, perhaps have to do weekly or monthly visits to a PO.

Any criminal arrest is considered public information and you cannot prevent your name from being in the newspapers unless you are some sort of local celebrity with a lot of money who can pay to keep your arrest out of the paper that is.
