I have a Bolens blower/vacuum that stopped running. If I use starting fluid it starts but dies. I removed air cleaner box, sprayed carb cleaner in carb. cleaned filter... it started and ran for about 3/4 hour... took carb off and checked float and needle, all seem o/k.. if you prime it , it will start for 3 seconds and die... checked fuel hose on carb of course and it seems clear. It is about 10--12 years old... any help would be appreciated...

Suggest using an Amsoil Product called Power Foam,that once the engine is running it will clean the carburetor,
Combustion chamber,and exhaust. Best to spray slowly to begin with and gradually increase.Heavy smoke indicates
Carbon is dissolving and occasionlly open throttle wide and continue to apply entire can.As the running improves
And you are close to empty,load the engine up enough to make it stop,allow it to soak and then start again in
One-half hour or so.
