    Painful period
When I have my period it only last two days,no pain and very light, sometimes it will come back 2 to 3 days later. After mmy period is over I have very painful overies, its even hard to sit down or stand up because of the pain. I also have a very heavy clear discharge. Is this normal? A bit of history on me, I had a tubel(sp?) after my fourth kid. Not sure if that could be why there is such a change.
    Thanks

I am not an obygyn but know my body pretty well, and I am on the medical board here. We don't have an obygyn and I don't think we even say that.

What you are experiencing needs a visit to your doctor with a referral to find out what exactly is wrong with all of you rpain, JJR. Why would you sit around and have pain like that without seeing to it properly ? You owe it to yourself to get it looked after.

I don't have insurance and was hoping that these might be normal signs from a tubel. The pain from the overies only last a day or so.

If your pain is so bad that you cannot sit or stand, please get checked by a doctor. If you are in the U.S. you can go to the ER and get help without insurance (Medicaid kicks in to pay). If you want to be sure which hospital in your area will accept you through the ER, call the reference department at your local public library to find that out or find out if there is a free clinic near you.

There may be some connection with the tubal you had, but others things might be going on too. You need to find out. (And let us know you are okay!)
