I am an American citizen and someone overseas has given me a gift
I am an American citizen and someone overseas who is not an American citizen has given me a gift of about $50,000. What is the best way for the money to be sent and will it be taxed? There will be several people coming from that country and each could bring $10,000, but wouldn't there be qustions when I want to use the money?

What you are attempting to do appears to be aimed at violating the law. You would be better off declairing it in its entirety and avoid any undue suspicion if its on the level.

    Agreed.

The $50,000 gift is NOT taxable to you and, since the giver is NOT a U.S. citizen, it is also not taxable to him/her as well.
