    Probation violation
My boyfriend was picked up on a probation violation for missing a court date for a speeding ticket. He was picked up and put away 2 weeks ago. He has not been given a court date or seen his probation officer. How long can they keep him without notifying him of the consequences? I've been told that his p.o. must see him within 10 business days of his arrest

Not sure of your local rules but the PO as far as I know does not have any reason to even see him at this point, it serves no purpose, he is to get a court date ( can be anything from a few days to ( I have seen it take two months)
How busy the court schedule is often makes the difference.
Also sometimes they keep them in longer to "teach them a lesson" then at the court date, they just put them back on probation, using the time waiting for the court date the punishment.

The PO violated him for what he did wrong, at this point the PO merely does a report on how he was doing before and gives it to the judge.

He should have hired an attorney to try and get it speed up a bit.

    Hello g:

Nahhhh... What is the PO going to tell him anyway - that he's going to see the judge? He's just going to see the judge. Nobody has to tell him that.
