    Please help
Hi I am pregnant but my doctor estimated my due date based on her size not when I conseived. Even though I told him that I had 5 home tests that proved that I was pregnant long before them. According to him I'm 33.5 weeks, but I know that I am at least 37. She is faced down, breathing inside of me, and all of her organs are fully developed. So why are they not changing anything? She is estimated 4lbs and 14oz's. I can't breathe and my lower back is grinding against other bones as I move. I have a light pink discharge and it kind of looks like snot. I have been losing it for a long time and on bedrest for many months. Can someone help me? Maybe tell me what all this means. I want to know, I am so tired of getting the runaround.

It sounds like you're in labor already. The pinkish discharge is the mucus membraine detaching. That happens when labor begins. Screw your doctor and just go to the ER.

They will send me to the labor and delivery and they just tell me if Im not bleeding enough to change pads or I am contracting that they can't do anything and just to go home and rest. They go by what my doctor says. So is she ready to be here?

I feel no contractions and I'm more or less just miserable.

Are there any contractions? If so, how far apart?

    No contractions at all.

Miserable isn't good enough to go to the ER. We're all miserable during the last month or so. How far apart do the contractions have to be before you go to the hospital, according to your doctor?

    Is this your first baby?

Several minutes apart. Yes, this is my first that's made it this far. I have had 5 miscarriages within the first month of pregnancy. Is there anything I can do?

Nope, there's nothing you can do (that I know of). Waiting gets to be a real drag, but that's what you have to do. I used to remind myself that elephants are pregnant for two years, so was glad I'm not an elephant.

    Are you bored?

My problem is that I'm further along than they believed. I'm not contracting but I'm supposed to be on bedrest. I have been for months. She is head down and I'm having mucous discharge and have been for a couple months. Her organs are all developed.

And my bones are grinding together.

How do you know her organs are all developed?

If you are further along than your doctor says you are, contractions will start when the baby is ready.

I just went and had an ultrasound done. She not only had fully developed organs but was head down and practicing breathing. They even noticed that they might have been wrong. They didn't admit it but they bumped my appointments to ever

And according to them I'm 33 weeks. And like I said I know I am further along because I had the test positive. From my conceived date I should have her anytime within the next couple weeks.

She's not even 5 pounds yet. The last weeks are for putting weight on her and for lung development. Otherwise, if she comes too early, she will be a preemie and will have to be put in the neonatal unit with oxygen help so she can breathe correctly.

They even said everything was all developed but she just needed to gain weight. Just don't think its right that they won't change my due date. My obgyn I had before I moved down even knew I was pregnant before.

Just confused. Non of what they say regarding my due date makes sense.

It makes no difference what your due date is. The baby doesn't know it, and she's the one who matters the most. You want her to be a good weight. She's not there yet.
