Firstly, let me say that I am sorry for your loss. We can get so attached to our babies no matter how early in pregnancy we may lose them.

Now, to try to help you. When you had the miscarriage did you have a D&C done?

Unusually long period with large blood clots.
    Hello.
I'm a 17 year old girl. I'm currently taking thr pill that has kept my
Periods short, light, and painless for the past 6months.
I've been bleeding for over a week now, really heavy, painfull, and passing
Some large bloodclots. The pain is unbareable. I can't move when they start.
Someone please help me, I'm worried.
I had a misscarraige a few months back and the pain is like that!
I can't take this! Is it normal or should o see my GP?

Dipsey, it's not necessary to start new threads. Just post your response in this thread using the Answer this question box.

Now, did you have a D&C done when you had the miscarriage?

No, not that I'm aware of. Should I have had one?

A D&C is not always necessary, but sometimes is to remove the products of conception.

Now, you should really make an appointment with your OB/GYN to make sure that your miscarriage was a complete miscarriage.
