My 15 year old friend got caught with drugs at school about 4 months ago and he was kicked out of school and got involuntary probation . He just recently got in trouble for possession of alcohol , what do you think the judge will do ? We live in California

Send him to a place where he can't get ahold of more drugs or alcohol until he's 18.

I would say most likely either a boot camp ( I am a big fan of those) or detention for a short period, maybe 3 to 6 months ** but it is a guess, a lot will depend on how his parents are at the court hearing and if the parents show they willl get serious in keeping control of him

I'm not sure, but I would find a rehabilitation program for him in the meantime. Sounds like he's headed down a rough path.
