I will soon be pleading quilty to 4 misdemeanor counts in the state of NC and I do not reside there. I am told I will not be able to leave the state until probabtion is transferred. Since I do not reside in North Carolina, and I do not have resources that would allow me to get housing there, what am I supposed to do?

Get it transferred as soon as you can... If you work it, and it's an EMERGENCY, you should be able to do it in a few weeks - maybe less. It depends on how good you are. Go read this...
