Mother to be shutting me out
I'm soon top be a dad in April nbext year and the mother is a close friend that one night while we were drunk we had sex. Now that she is pregnant she is rude to me and has moved over 2 hours away and won't move closer to me. I have a great job I don't want to leave but I also don't want to miss a thing. Woman complain that when they split the father won't help or be there for the kids and I'm trying to and she is a, I won't say what but its causing me huge amounts of stress and I can't sleep know I have no power at all...

What you have to understand is that at this time you may not have "any power at all". But when the child is born you will have rights to the child that can be bestowed upon you by the courts. Once the child is born you need to go to court right away and assert those rights. Paternity and visitation which will include court ordered DNA. Also depending on where you live it may include mediation for the purpose of visitation. So at this point all is not lost.

First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's. This can lead to confusion. You should start a new thread. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

As Califdad pointed out you don't have rights now, but you will once the child is born. I know you want to be part of that birth, but this is the penalty for getting drunk and letting things get away from you.
