I've tested the heat coil and that has continuity. I've tested all the thermostats but one. The ones I tested all show continuity (0 ohms resistance) The one I didn't test has 4 leads so I wasn't sure how to test it. There are a red and blue wire each going to one pin of the thermostat and an orange / black wire going to another pin then jumping over to the 4th pin. The schematic says that this is the control thermostat. Interesting thing... when I disconnected the leads going to the heater element and started up the dryer, each lead showed 120 volts - using the voltmeter and testing each lead to ground. Really can't afford a new dryer so I would really like to fix this one. Thanks in advance.
