My daughter is 13 months, we r still breast feeding but I have had my regular period back for like 10 months. I always get it on the 19th or before bit itsnot here. I took a pregnancy test and it says negative but I am wondering why else I wouldn't get it. My husband and I have had unprotected sex but we have been careful, would be bad if we were pregnant though.

Since your periods have returned, and she is not exclusively breastfed, the protection offered by breastfeeding can not be counted on.

Your period may just be off or the test may not have picked up a positive result yet. See what happens for November. If still no period, try another test or see your doctor.
