    B1/B2 visa's validity
    Dear sir/ma'am,

I am in confusing situation on B1/B2 visa's validity. Let me explain it now.

I entered U.S with B1/B2 visa and applied for F1 status change in May 2008.
It took much time to get an approval decision until April 2009.F1 status is approved!
But in that time I received a letter from my family and it was that I had to go back to my country.I left U.S while I am in F1 status, of course I made a cancellation school and study.
Now I'd like to travel U.S just to see some old buddies I made there. I got in my passport still B1/B2 visa is stamped and valid through 2018.
My question is: Is my B1/B2 visa still valid or not? I mean if it is still valid that I do not need to apply for a travel visa isn't it?

Before departing to U.S, I'd like to make clear out all my doubts.

Please, any advice, email is welcome.

    Thanks in advance.

    Sincerely,
    Jayser.

When you have your status changed while in US, your original visa, which in this case is B1/B2 would be automatically revoked.

    Apply for a new B1/B2...
