The "helpful/not helpful" option is a rating system, and a "not helpful" rating is for factually incorrect information only. That's why it was upsetting, because my post wasn't factually incorrect. No worries, now you know. :)

The comment feature is also not the way to answer, go to the bottom of your screen, there should be a post feature to respond.

Now back to your question. What have you done to try and find your Uncle? Do you have his last known address, where he worked, any of the people that may know him? Have you contacted his employer or the last person he was known to be working for? Have you contacted the landlord of the last address he was known to be living at?

Those are the places I'd try now, see if anyone has any information about where he may have gone.

If that doesn't yield anything than perhaps hire a private detective. If the entire family really wants to find him than you can all split the cost. That's what I would do if nothing else panned out.

I Go to FRANCE LEGATION in my country and call him on the last number he gave us(out of reach)-His last known address is 3/avenue.camille.rousset 69500 bron(lyon)-his going for study in University-we don't have any number or address from his friends but I have picture with his friends in the summer of 1984-we don't have any number of his landlord.
