Wiring bath fan with light/fan combo. Want to operate them on separate switches.
I have power wire with a black/white/ ground. The switches have their own wires with Black/ White wires. The fan unit has two plugs one for the fan with a blue wire and a white wire, and the light has a black wire and a white wire.

First you will need to add another box, or use a duplex switch. You will either need 2 single pole switches and an appropriate length of 14/3 or the duplex switch. Make sure the power is off to the box(s) From the hot black, pigtail 2 black leads and put 1 lead under the bottom screw on each single pole switch. Get the piece of 14/3 black, red, white and ground. Tie all the whites together, all the grounds and pigtail a lead to the switch grounds. One of the 14/3, black or red leads goes to the top screw of the first switch and the red goes to the other switch. At the fan, tie all the whites, ground the box, put red or black on black and the other on the blue. Usually, the first switch controls the light. Turn on the power and it should work. Good Luck
