    I want my stuff back
I went through a very rocky break up with a boyfriend of over 3 years. He says he cannot forgive me for something I did (tried to commit suicide) and has promptly ignored me. I told him I was sorry when I saw him and asked for a book back. I told him he could keep all the things I gave him (ps3, iPod, etc.) but I made a book for him and I want it back. When I gave it to him I told him that if things went south with us that I did not want him to throw it away but give it back to me. He promised he would. So now he tells me no he will not give it back to me but he won't tell me why. Is he being spiteful and just doesn't want to give it to me because I want it? I told him he could send it to me or have a friend drop it off. He does not have to see me, I don't want him back either. I just want that book back. How do I get it back?

Honestly, I don't think that he is being spiteful. I believe that he cares about it and that it was a gift from you, also that you put time and effort into the book. So I think he really does want it, as I think it's a symbol of your love.

Let him have it... It was a gift.

Also, you will just probably look at it from time to time and only get hurt of what you once had.

I totally agree with Engima... Your just going to get hurt by all of tha again and you don't really need that right now. Just let it go and move on. You can't live in the past. Trust me I know. But you have the now and the future. You can make another book maybe for your kids someday or someone else. That would be special if not more special to you

Yes, there is no good reason to keep or get it back, it will only cause and bring more pain, Stop contact with him and just slowly move on with it.

You ex cannot forgive you for trying to commit suicide? Let him keep the book if he wants to be that much of a creep.
It will only serve as bad memories for you.
