I live in a high humidity area that has cold winters that can reach but not sustain 0 degrees and hot summers that can reach and sustain almost 100 degrees. Sorry so long to respond. Look into the new 2 stage equipment. I'm probably biased but I like Rheem equipment. Two stage will do a much better job dehumidifying your house. With a furnace and thermostat upgrade you can really do a good job getting the humidity and temperature comfort settings you want.
