My daughter is 3 in feb she has been potty trained since she was one and half and happily goes to toilet for a wee but as soon as she needs a number 2 she panicsand won't go until she has a nappy on, how do I get her to usethe toilet, I've tried bribing her with presents, sitting her on the toilet and not putting nappy on but she will keep it in until she gets belly ache and is sobbing at me to put a nappy on, she's really good and doesn't even have nappy on at night but how do I get her to have a poo on toilet?

Let her do something the big guys do on toilets when they are going. Give her a children's book and tell her that is how you do it.

I'd recommend checking out a children's book store. There are a lot of books designed for help in potty training and sometimes when kids see something in a book it means more than if someone tells them. I had one for my son that basically talked about different animals and how dogs poop at the park and their people have to pick up the poop and throw it away, and how cats poop in the litter box, and babies poop in diapers, and big kids poop in toilets. When my son figured out that only babies poop in diapers and wanted to be a big boy, he got on board.

Some kids are just slow to go along and three isn't crazy - it's about the right age to learn, so hang in there. She'll get it soon.

Does she have her own potty chair? It may be the "splash" that she doesn't like. Get her a little potty just for "poos" and if she's regular as my son was (went once a day) can also use a chewable vitamin as reward?
Or just tell her nappys squish the poo but in her own potty you ( and her) can see what poo shape she made! My son at age 3 was ecstatic over his "ice keem poop" and well it did have the shape of a single dip sugar coneed ice cream cone. Lol!
Let her overhear you talking with? About your ummm... shape you made.. and have whomever ask if she has made any shapes worth mentioning.
Let het hear you say you don't know her are already squished in her nappy and you can't tell. Follow with "Get her a what?" a POO POO POTTY!
Of course id get her one if she wanted it but naa I don't think shed want one.
She'll get curious and if you're careful you can let Her persuade You she needs a brand new poo poo potty!
This indirect approach often works like you wouldn't believe. Falls in with the old doesn't want a toy until someone else picks it up to play with it, then that's exactly what she/he was fixing to play with. Hope this helps you!!

Have you tried keeping a log of when she goes? Like, certain times of the day or how long after eating? If you know the schedule then if might be easier to get her there. Something that I found really helpful and appeared to work, was to be overly excited! The mere thought of getting to sit on a potty, was made to sound like the greatest think ever. Don't forget to clap, cheer, jump up and down if they doing anything or even try. I have even had friends that are like family) that are potty training their children, will call me to brag on the most recent event/accomplishment. :O)... Maybe getting really cute panties with her favorite character or color, even let her help pick them out. So, she doesn't want to mess them up. I have known of some that have tried bribing with some sort of candy, like 1 M&M for #1 and 2 for a #2.

Yeah tried it all! She does go to toilet on her own for a wee no problem and has doone since she was 1 and half. She has only ever had a poo on potty once but then she got constiipated and hurt so I thik this is y is scared her into not going
