Venting warm air from wood burning stove downstairs to upper level
I have a wood burning stove in my basement and am looking to put in some vents between the basement ceiling and upper storry floor to allow the warm air from the stove to rise to the second story. The vents would not be contacted to the home heating system. Does this make any sense to do?

You can hook your return duct to your wood stove or make a hood to collect the heat. Turn the fan on and blow the air out your existing vents
