Had postmenopausal spotting /bleeding had transvaginal ultrasound Report was as follows
Normal uterus size 1.1 cm mid anterior fibroid. Small mat of fluid in endometrial canal with endometrium measuring 3mm In ap diameter. Small 0.7 cervical cyst. Normal appearance rt ovary (left ovary surgically removed 30 yes ago). No definite endometrial polyp or hyperplasia was identified however clinical correlation is advised to determine if additional evaluation for distal obstructing abnormality would be indicated. Otherwise follow up sonogram to assess for resolution of fluid would be recommended
