    Cat Fleas
I have a slight flea problem.. My cats have never been outside.. and my roommates cat stays in her room on the other side of the house.. where I have never ventured into... I have hardwood floors.. any thought of how they may be getting either into the house or from the other side of the house? 2. With that being said... how do I get rid of them on hardwood floors? I have advantage on my cat, as well as a collar and wash my sheets continually.. it doesn't seem to be AS bad, but there is defiantly still a problem. I was going to bomb the house but I have heard that it can be very harmful to cats? Any fairly reasonable priced solutions... and when I do sweep and look for the problem.. what am I looking for exactly... Sooo many questions but I have read up and can not really find more than one of the same solution

Flees can be brought in your house on your clothes. I recently had a flee problem myself. At any vet you should be able to purchase a spray. The only problem with it is that you have to go room by room, vacuum really good (even hardwood floors), then you spray the stuff and let it dry completely before letting your animals, or yourself walk on it. It's a pain in the butt, but it should solve the problem. Other than that just keep using the advantage, it's the best thing out there. Have your room mate get the advantage for her/his cat as well. Once your house is clear and all animals are flee free you shouldn't have a problem. Depending on where you live you may need advantage all the time. In colder climates once it gets really cold outside all the flees will die and you will only have to worry when it's warm. Flee collars are not very effective and can cause skin irritation. Also, flees are very small. They can jump very far distances. The only way I can explain them is that they are about as small as the period at the end of this sentence. Good luck, and keep up the advantage.
