Without actually seeing a painting or piece of art the price is subjective. There is so many variables as well as many pricing stratagies. You have insurance pricing, sale pricing and auction prices.
So its next to impossible to give you a real answer.
Your best bet is to put your question in the hands of an art-loving reference librarian at your local public library. (Be sure to spell the artist's name correctly.)
Something is as valuable as the price someone else wants to pay for it. The librarian will find out what has been paid in the past for which paintings.
