    There is no expiration of that type of warrant.

    Warrants never lift. A warrant is generally a order for arrest. It remains active until the person is arrested.

    Warrants last forever... But, I'm confused. I've never heard of "family abandonment" being a crime. If you'd like to explain a little deeper, you'll get a better answer.

    In Ga at least that name is for the crime of non payment of child support.
