    Fathers rights to his daughter?
Okay, so my parents divorced when I was about a year old. My dad was an alcoholic and he is now sober. I refused to talk to him for the longest time, and now I don't talk to my mother or step dad and I hate living with them. My dad is now sober, but doesn't have a job. What are his rights to me? Could I go see him, or live with him better yet? Im 14, does that change anything?

It is hard to answer without knowing the circumstances of the divorce or what was in the divorce decree. However, unless he had his rights terminated he can apply for modification of the custody agreement and/or visitation.

At 14 you have no rights to decide anything, you may testify in court if there is a motion in court to change any existing custody agreement.

So you need to know what legal court custody, court visits and more is ordered
