    Make sure you have the correct drivers for your system.

    Are you sure they are the correct drivers? Get the motherboard's model number with CPUZ (CPUID - System & hardware benchmark, monitoring, reporting) and download the latest drivers.

    Also check to see if the sound card is enabled in your BIOS. Reset the BIOS to be safe.
