The father of my child has never had contact with her ever in her life. She is now almost 2 and a half. He has now requested a dna test and I'm afraid he will want visitation once he sees she is his. But my question is does he have any rights since he's had no contact what so ever?

Unfortunately, yes. If he is a biological father of the child, he has rights just as much as you do - that's the way the courts see it.

Is there a specific reason you don't want him involved in her life? Do you feel that he's a danger or threat to the child? Or do you simply not want to disrupt the life that you already have established for her?
