I've been with my boyfriend for over 2 years now, in the beginning we would have sex 3times a day and over the time it kept going lower to 2times a day then 1 time a day and now its like once a moth or every other month. :( Each time I ask him what's the problem his excuse is always that he's tired, or he has a headache, or he's just not in the mood... I suspected him cheating, but he's not, because he's usually with me or at work or with friends. Almost every time that I'm in the mood I make sure he knows it! But nothing ever seems to work. He tells me that he loves me and that he enjoys making love to me, but now its been like a little over month since we last had sex. I'm confused and I don't know what to do. Help me?

Sex can decrease for many reasons and I am a therapist not a doctor. What I can say is that as a relationship grows and becomes more mature, sex becomes less of a priority. That doesn't mean he's cheating. The important things in a relationship change as well. Sexual heat can become day to day compansionship, trust, communication etc. Even men become older and less energetic. Other stressors could also effect it like stress at work, children, money problems etc. You have to find other perks and strengths in relationship that are less superficial. Have a talk with him about how not having sex worries you, and he may understand and reassure you. Men do cheat but not just because they need more sex. Talk tohim about your feelings
