    which motherboard i should buy for gaming
    i am going to assemble a pc
    my specs are
    intel core i7 930 2.88ghz
    ati radeon hd 5770
    4 gb ddr 3 ram
    500 gb sata hard disk
    i am confused about the motherboard that i should buy for gaming
    i should buy intel dx58so or intel wx58bp or gigabute ga-x58a-ud3r
    in future i want 3 way sli

    Of the three, my choice would be the DX58SO after contacting Intel or otherwise confirming availability of a 3 way SLI connector suitable to this motherboard and verifying 3 way support.

    Main reasons for this choice:
    • The DX58SO is WHQL logo'd for Vista Ultimate and Windows 7 based on the test report on Intel's site. Also has more ports and IR.
    • The WX58BP is a workstation board and only WHQL logo'd for Vista based on the test report on Intel's site.
    • I don't buy Gigabyte anymore because the only board I ever purchased of theirs leaked caps, caught fire, and setoff the fire alarm system at the office in the middle of the night.
