I have two bumps - 1 outside my vagina and 1 closer to my anus. I've had them in the same place before and they've gone away after a couple days. They are semi hard . I've slept with one person and we broke it off a long time ago. I never had them appear when I was with him. I'm pretty sure they are irritation from a particular pair of underwear. I am making an apmt with my doctor but I don't want to seem like a fool if I make that suggestion in her office. If it were ingrown hair, it would look more like a pimple, is that correct? Is it more likely that they are genital warts?

It's never foolish to cover all possibilities with a doctor. It's common to get bumps in damp areas of the body that rub against other parts or close clothing, even under the breasts. Some go away, some stay. It doesn't hurt to check for the usual herpes, etc, if it's a concern.
