Why hasn't my dog had her pups yet?
OK my dog is 67 going on 68 days pregnant. Hasn't dropped much, looks like she may have absorbed all the pups but 1 or 2... Every now and again I can feel what I would guess is a tiny paw.
Anyway... She is nesting a little, and started eating again after a week of barely eating anything. Her temp for the past 30 or so hours has been 97.4 and around there. She isn't contracting from what I can tell, just a little gloomy at times and does nothing but sleep and lay around. I think we will be finding a new vet, as the one we have just doesn't seem to be with it anymore.

    Any thought would be appreciated.

In my book its 63 days, but depends a lot on the size of the female and the breed. If she doesn't show any signs by tomorrow, I would find another vet. Her temp is high as well.

Good luck, I know you are worried but find a vet you can rely on.

Crazy idea, but it does work.. Take her on a long walk or a car ride.

I have been told that pregnant mares that need to foal asap will start to go into labor after a bumpy drive down a road. Maybe that same concept will work for a dog. But definitely increase her exercise just a little bit.. such as a walk.

Contact your vet for any questions or concerns. Your female is at risk if this is going to be a complicated welp. They will also give her a deadline to welp or they will have to to a c-section birth.

Please let us know how it goes. We'd love pictures when the pups are born. :)

Well I would first of all get a new vet and ask the vet to check your dog over asap.
Does the dog look like she is in any pain at all?
I have the same problem sort of...
My dog... well I don't know when her due date is as she was bred in an unknown time
She eats loads and loads and load (just as she had done as a puppy)
She does seem to be nesting and I have built her a whelping box which she seems to settle into
Though I have not checked her temperature... though I will if I think its getting past her due date
I want to know what happens with you and your dog and her on coming pups XXD
    Please post pics!

This question was asked over two years ago.. I'm sure the dog either died from dystocia, or had her puppies by now... Not to mention the pups would be close to two years old!

We appreciate advise, but please check the dates.
