My remote start keeps starting by itself . I hear the tone on my key ring then it starts.
So I was thinking my remote was shorting out , so I took the Battery out of the remote, At 1:00 this morning it started again .
Its an 1994 dodge Ram 2500 and yes it has a Hemi .Any Ideas .

Is it normally around the same time

Its parking in the same place that I've parked it since I've had it.

I know that my alarm system used to go off at 2 am every morning, turned out that a nearby business had some electric equipment that sent out a signal on that fequency at that time.

Do you have the option of changing the channel that it transmit on

If you remote start it , and shut it off with the remote / it will restart every four hours .
Last time it started I put the key in and shut it off hasn't went off since ,
I was wondering why there was a picture of a key flashing on my remote , now I know.
