Can smoking near my kitten damage it's health?
Can smoking harm my kitten? Both my partner and I smoke and we are worried that it might affect our kittens health. Thanks!

Second hand smoke affects all living creatures in the space you're doing it in hence the reasons for smoking areas.

Most animals, just like humans, breath air the same way and so will have a shorter lifespan and ugly end. Just like humans.

I'd keep it to outside away from other living creatures.

Here's a test you can do to see just how much smoking in the house gets absorbed:
Get a fish bowl filled with water and place it an adjacent room to where you do your most smoking. Dining room between kitchen and the living room where most people do their smoking is a good spot. After two days the water will go yellow.
Imagine if there were fish living in it.

My boyfriend and I both smoke as well. Iwould try to just smoke in a well ventillated area. I try not to blow the smoke near the animals and I also try do smoke mainly outside. My pets are all fine, but second hand smoke is harmful. Have you considered quitting? If not I would just suggest not confining the smoke in one small enclosed area where your pets may be.
